Gasag Kunstpreis 2010

Communication Media

Susanne Kriemann, born in 1972, was awarded the GASAG Kunstpreis 2010. For the first time, this prize was awarded in cooperation with the Berlinische Galerie. With the newly-aligned award, the partners honour an artist working in Berlin whose work is located at the interface of art, science and technology every two years. Susanne Kriemann convinced the jury with her research-intensive manner of work and the complexity of her presentations.

Thoma+Schekorr created the corporate design and designed several associated communications measures. In addition to the compact scripture, the signal-orange colour provides a striking expressive power. It is a mirror for modern art while also forming a bridge between the curatorial competence of the Berlinische Galerie and the sponsoring GASAG.
