After his first stations at Neue Digitale, Lars Müller Publishers and Grappa Berlin, Daniel Thoma worked in a design managing function with MetaDesign for eight years. He was responsible for the development and implementation of extensive communications concepts in the area of corporate identity for national and international clients. Many or his works won prestigious design awards, such as – repeatedly – the Red Dot Award and the iF Award.

Before founding Thoma+Schekorr, Nils Schekorr worked with internationally leading brand agencies such as Landor, FutureBrand and Peter Schmidt for many years before he became design director at MetaDesign in 2003. This creative talent has won many awards and is a member of the International Society of Typographic Designers ISTD. He gives presentations on branding and design and lectures at the department of communication design at HTW Berlin as well at Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg with focus on branding and digital media.
